Mike
Sexton

Mike Sexton is an experienced trainer, a retired Marine CWO, and a two-class Master-rated IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) competitor, and is very active in Three Gun competition as well. He has been involved in firearms training since 1995, and is certified in the South Carolina Concealed Weapons Course, NRA pistol courses, and as an IDPA Safety Officer Instructor, and Certified Glock Armorer. Mike is one of the premiere action shooting competitors in the state, as a three time State IDPA Champion and two time Carolina Cup (Oxford, NC) Champion. With his military and competition backgrounds he brings a unique perspective and level of intensity to our training programs, as he offers not only standard courses, but custom courses of his own design, for those who wish to expand their experience and capabilities in the disciplines of tactical and real world practical shooting. David Pantaloni
|
David Pantaloni has been a full time instructor and sales person at Allen Arms since 2008. He is certified as a South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit Instructor, NRA Pistol Instructor, and IDPA Safety Officer. David has been a competition shooter with IPSC, USPSA, IDPA, Three Gun and CPSL for a total of over 20 years. He holds a Batchelor of Science in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laud, from Emporia State University, Emporia, KS. David has also created the Defensive Shotgun and Action Competition Pistol courses at Allen Arms and took extensive training classes to prepare for teaching those courses. He is an accomplished pianist and SCUBA diver. David has been invited by the Greenville County Sheriffs Office SWAT team to participate in Active Shooter Simulation Training. Back To Top |

Bradley is one of the nicest 17 year olds you will ever meet. Being so young, you might wonder what qualifies him to instruct at such a "tender age"? His competition qualifications overshadow his formal training qualifications, as impressive as they are. Rated NRA Distinguished Expert in shotgun, he has over 165 local titles and competitions wins. In addition:
- South Carolina Junior Skeet Champion 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 (he first won when he was twelve)
- Won 5 Junior World Skeet Titles in NSSA in 2006 (San Antonio, Texas, his first attempt)
- Won 4 Junior World Skeet Titles in 2007 (Boston, Mass.).
- He is currently sponsored by Remington Arms.
Bradley also competes in NRA High Power rifle and various action pistol venues. Trust me, this young man knows which end of the gun the shot comes out of. Back To Top |

Bob Gibson |
Sgt. Robert "Bob" Gibson has been shooting since age six. He has competed in smallbore rifle, action pistol, trap, and presently NRA Highpower Service Rifle on the National Match Course with an AR15 NM rifle. Between 1977 and 1983 Bob served as a unit armorer in the West Virginia Army National Guard (2 years) and the South Carolina Army National Guard (4 years). He was responsible for the security and maintenance of his company's M16s, M203 grenade launchers, 1911A1 pistols, M60 machineguns, M3A1 submachine guns, M1D sniper rifles, riot shotguns, an M2 HB .50 cal BMG heavy machine gun, and one 155mm howitzer tactical nuclear training round. Bob has been a police officer in South Carolina since 1984. He served sixteen years with the Greenville Coun ty Sheriff's Office during which time he was awarded the J.P. Strom Award for the highest academic score (98.9 percent) in his basic class at the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy. He won Top Trigger at the Sheriff's Office in 1986. From 1989 until 2000 he served as the Sniper Team Leader of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office S.W.A.T. Team. Bob is presently serving as the sergeant supervising first shift patrol operations at Furman University Police Department, Public Safety Office. Bob Is an NRA certified pistol instructor He has also been actively involved handloading (reloading) ammunition since 1975, and is a life-long hunter.

Travis Nelson |
Travis Nelson is a full time Range employee, and has been with Allen Arms since our opening. Certified as both a National Rifle Association Pistol Instructor, and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Concealed Weapons Permit Instructor, he trained under Mark Bilicki. A former Greenville County Deputy, he has been hunting and shooting all of his life. Travis is currently a full time firefighter with the Wade Hampton Fire Department. Due to his status with the range, he works frequently with novice shooters in Personal Training, as well as instructing the CWP course. Back To Top |

Mr. and Mrs. Smith |
Mr. and Mrs. Smith - Skip and Rhonda Smith work as a unique tandem in training, as "Mr. And Mrs. Smith". Skip is a graduate of Furman University, as well as one of the original employees of Allen Arms. He is a certified NRA instructor in Pistol and Protection In The Home, as well as a South Carolina Certified Concealed Weapons Permit Instructor. Rhonda is an NRA certified Pistol instructor and Range Safety Officer. She is also a South Carolina certified Concealed Weapons Instructor. Together they are the only husband/wife teaching unit we know of, and offer a unique approach to training.
