• Purpose of Course- To introduce the student to handguns and instill basic information of handling, safety, ammunition, and firing. An excellent preparation for the SC Concealed Weapons Course, or anyone buying, or considering buying or keeping a handgun.
• Age Requirements- 21, or accompanied by a guardian.
• Prerequisites- None.
• Time- 4 hours.
• Equipment Needed- Handgun of choice, 50 rounds of ammunition, hip holster and belt, eye and ear protection. Valid drivers license for adults. Firearms can be provided by the range free of charge or purchased at the range.
• Activities Involved- Classroom instruction, 1 hour shooting on range.
• Maximum enrollment- 12
• Other Information- Graduates will receive a free range session., $10 value.
• Cost- $80

EQUIPMENT FOR ALL CLASSES- All equipment needed can be provided by the range at no charge, except ammunition. Ammunition may be purchased at the range.
